Carol's passion for photography began at an early age, when she took her first portrait of her parents at 4 years old. Pet photography was an early interest, with her dogs as favorite subjects while growing up. She studied photography at Smith College, and continued studying in Southern California with famous portrait photographer Leigh Weiner. She has traveled all over the world photographing wildlife and studying with pros in the field, including Jim Church, Norbert Wu, Tom Campbell and Dan Cox. She attended the Rocky Mountain Digital Arts Center for several classes on Photoshop for Photographers and Digital Photography. |
Carol started Living Images by Carol Walker in 2000, with the focus on providing relaxed, on location portraits that illuminate the relationship between animals and their people, as well as providing high quality commercial and artistic images for advertising equines. |
