New Wild Horse Artwork

“Custer’s Dance” by Carol Walker

As winter continues to bring cold to the United States this week, I am thinking about spring, and this image with its gorgeous mountain flowers seemed like a perfect start for this week’s newsletter.

This striking wild stallion named Custer lives in the Pryor Mountains of Montana. He looks as though he is dancing here, but he is posturing because another stallion in coming close to his family. Watching for dramatic behaviors as the wild horses interact with each other is key in capturing a good image.

This image is available as a fine art print or as a gallery wrapped stretched canvas, and it works best in a rectangular size. The code for ordering the image is: fineart-174-custersdance

New Horse Artwork

“Wind Storm” by Carol Walker

This dramatic image of an Andalusian stallion, mane and tail flying as if in the wind against an interesting wall was taken in southern France. The shutter speed was fast in order to capture the action, and black and white emphasizes the lines of the horse and the stark wall behind him.

This image is available as a fine art print or as a gallery wrapped stretched canvas, and it works best in a rectangular size. The code for ordering the image is: fineart-287-windstorm
