New Wild Horse Artwork

“Thor’s Head Shake” by Carol Walker

This image was taken this summer. Ever since Thor was born, his spectacular markings and blue eyes have captured my attention, and he is growing into a stunning stallion in the McCullough Peaks Herd in Wyoming. He is still a bachelor, and playing with the other bachelors here. His markings are made more dramatic by being in black and white.

This image is available as a fine art print or as a gallery wrapped stretched canvas, and it works best in a rectangular size. The code for ordering the image is: fineart-357-thor’sheadshake

“Sagebrush Dance” by Carol Walker

This stallion is named after a celebrity who is a wonderful advocate for our wild horses, Willie Nelson, and the stallion is as colorful as his namesake. In the early morning this summer in the Sand Wash Basin Herd Area in Colorado he was leading his family to water at a run, visible in spurts as he flies down the path hidden from my view by the sagebrush.

This image is available as a fine art print or as a gallery wrapped stretched canvas, and it works best in a long rectangular size. The code for ordering the image is: fineart-358-sagebrushdance
