New Wild Horse Artwork

“Waverunner” by Carol Walker

For a change of pace this week I will be featuring a wild horse from Carrot Island in North Carolina. I visited there last May, and was impressed by how these horses of the coast had adapted to their saltwater home.  This wild stallion named Waverunner is gorgeous in the last light of the day, as he lifts his head and looks toward his family, while standing in the water.

This image is available as a fine art print or as a gallery wrapped stretched canvas, and it works best in a rectangular size. The code for ordering the image is: fineart-317-waverunner

And it can be ordered here:

New Horse Artwork

“In the Water at Dawn II” by Carol Walker

This image was taken before dawn in the very soft light as two Camargue horses that are good friends have their heads together just above the water. The feeling to the image is soft and warm, even though it is in black and white. This was taken on a trip to the Camargue region in France in 2011.
