I am excited to share this new image from my latest trip to the Red Desert of Wyoming.
This is a wild leopard appaloosa stallion named Looking Glass who has a small family in the Red Desert Complex of Wyoming. Last year he was spending time at the outskirts of a large family of an older gray stallion. He was trying to get a mare of his own. This year, he has a beautiful black mare, her two year old colt and a new bay foal. Looking Glass has a relaxed and mellow demeanor and does not mind being observed and photographed – and he even seems to enjoy the attention.
This image looks best in black and white, which brings out the detail of his gorgeous spots. I captured him as he tossed his head, with his mane furling out in the Wyoming wind.
This image can be found on my new website here: Wild Leopard Appaloosa
and you can order it as a fine art print, a metal print, a gallery wrapped canvas or an acrylic print in a variety of sizes and prices. And you can use my website’s revolutionary Augmented Reality Tool which will allow you to put the image onto your wall using your phone!
